Dragon flies from Hanoi

26 JUL 2010: Last year when my colleague went for a trip to Hanoi, she bought me a little souvenir. And another friend went to the same place last month, and I’ve got the same souvenir again; different in color and size. Makes me wonder what’s so special about this thing; any meaning behind? Anyhow, I like the bling2 effect though.

This is probably not something new that Putrajaya had organized a flora festival few weeks back; and I went over with a friend to look around and take some photos. I was disappointed that I didn’t see my favorite species of “bird of paradise”.

I saw 1 at Daniel's desk last time, it's cool, the dragonfly, can 'hang' on the partition and won't fall...

mang0: Yeah, the dragonfly is pretty nice. So when wanna have dinner to celebrate my "turn"?

SK: Probably it's one of the signature there. My friend said it brings luck...

Danny: Abang, u pun suka bird of paradise ke? Yala, very unique kan? And there're quite some species. Planning to build my small little garden with all species of birds...cantik kan?

TZ: Actually there was nothing to shout about. But no harm to go and take a look. :)

Danny: Not bad, your members do know about "bird of paradise" and not thinking of other bird. Yes, I'm in the progress of collectig more species. Will put up some photos if I'm successful. If I'm being quiet, tahu2 jelah..don't ask more.
