Spring Haircut

14 JAN 2009: Since everybody is so busy with spring cleaning, spring shopping bla bla bla, which are all related to spring, I therefore went for a "spring" haircut today. Not much difference comparing to previous cut (being a conservative me), but this would be my look when meeting all my relatives and friends on coming CNY.

CNY is a festive season with lot of happiness, enjoyment, fun, gambling, eating, which are all good apart from being asked the same old million dollar questions by those aunties again:

Auntie A: Aiyo, where is your gf?
Me: Don't have ler, do you wanna intro one to me?
Auntie A: Sure not? So leng chai you are.
Me: Doh.....

Auntie B: Fast2 get married and give ang pow lor, so old de.
Me: Not old la, still wanna take your ang pow for the next 5-7 years.
Auntie B: Choi...

Trust me, still the same old them and me. No surprise...
Anyone with same experience here? Mind to share how did you handle these kind of questions for me to give them some surprises this year..hehe.

you look as fresh as spring.. hope you can find your "spring" soon, hehe :p

as for handling those questions.. yours are good enough and you don't need new tactics, just stick to one answers because the questions are repeating also :)

Hehe, luckily my aunt is like me, not pro-marriage, so I have a backup voice among my relatives when these questions arise :p

to me it looks the same... cant tell the differences, as you always seemed neat and clean.

This hair-do suits you.. :)

Aunties... haiz... yaloh every year is like deja vu...

my answer "i cant feed myself well, so better stay single and not too ambitious" haahaaa

But love all my aunties, they cheer up the mood a lot and happy to see them, they just like a cheerleading team, just without pom pons...

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR and "one ship sail smooth" to you! :D

Sam: Yeap, I'm all ready myself. But looking at my room and house, still lots to do. Are you ready then?

F.Frog: True. How about yourself? Everything ready for CNY?

SK: Never think of looking for spring le. I've been gone through so many years of training on handling those questions, what do you think le? Anyhow, back hometown during CNY? Gotta get someone to hang out during CNY.

mangO: Ah, backup. Maybe I should look for a backup also. Thanks for the idea. Good 1!!!

LeuMaS: Ah..so sweet of you. Thanks a lot.

Twilight Z: Hehe, I will bring some adult diapers for them, on my own bill. Not good to wet their panties la. Shall I get one for you too?

amos: As I said, not much different just that it's slightly shorter this time ard. I love those aunties as well..being so caring all the time. Happy CNY to you too. Will you going back to hometown?

All those are good except the last 1. For sure my aunties and dad will wet their undies due to over-shocked. :)

hehe, how come not getting any spring?? well, since the same old question is kept throwing on you, you don't have to be creative to give them new answers everytime right?? just say the same thing every year will do.. hehe!! i am local KL, no hometown to go back, sob sob.. you local too??

KY said...

SK: I'm always a summer person, spring is too flowery for me. Yeap, another local here. Perhaps I can pay you a visit for Ang Pow!!! Keke.

[SK] said...

hehe, i'm also a summer person, because born in summer.. you come for angpow?? but must be from my mum and not me lor.. i'm still not eligible to give angpow yet.. hehe :p

KY said...

SK: Hmm, which Malaysian didn't born in summer wo. Unless you are not Malaysian, are you? OK, then I'll target your mum but pls don't ask me the million dollar question ya auntie. :)

u look so school boyish with ur new haircut....so jealous la....:(
as for the bonus question, since they ask u the same question every year, then u should just answer them with the same answer every year.. if they complain about ur answer, just ask them to change their question...lol

KEENYEE & SK - both of you talked like chipmunks! LOL... I am still at office 12.32am laughing my arse off.

With the red shirt..definitely in CNY mood. My aunt ask the same question too...the same whole thing. I said u introduce girl to me lo, must hav money wo. ;)

KY said...

Laurence: Actually you are wrong le, I don't really like CNY. It's a bored celebration for me being in KL every year. :)

Danny: School boyish? Keke, cannot fight with you on this la. Remember your t-shirt case? Even sales person also gave you compliment le.

Twilight Z: 12:32am at office laughing alone? Sure nothing laugh together with you?

Jason: Red shirt can be recycled to wear every CNY la. Bet I won't wear red on CNY itself. Hehe, your aunt is so concern about u as well wo.
