Shine again

Have you ever heard people said not to talk bad about your own car? Not to mention changing car in front of him/her? Or else your car would angry and show signs? Well said that I wouldn't trust it until now.

Apparently, my Addy is reaching 5 years old soon; and it's my bad to start looking at other gorgeous out there. And there he started to show me some colors. The handle and fuel cover were broken when I touched it. He just didn't allow me to touch him anymore.

Replaced the broken stuff and he looked so bad in inconsistent colors. Hence, sent him to do some spray job today. Let you shine again my boy, love you always.

Mobile Blogging

I know I have not been blogging for years again. Ever since I've landed in this new job,  enjoying my life after work without having to switch on my laptop. Life is pretty good I would say,  comparing with last time where I have to face the laptop till midnight for teleconference.
But here I am again; found a new channel to blog via mobile device. Hope this can make me keep in touch with all of you again.
To BigMouth, SK, Chris, Tagnan - I miss the gossiping session lo.

Ping “Pong Pong”

Still remember that I love to play ping pong a lot during my secondary schooling. I wouldn’t say I’m good on it as I’m not naturally gifted when it comes to sport. Once I played bola sepak and the ball hit directly on my face…malu for the rest of the week. Then I went to play basketball lor, I pulak the shortest among all the players. That was why I ended up playing ping pong.

I was very happy when my company announced that we’ll have so called “sport day” every Wednesday. It started last week with ping pong, which was one of my favourite la so called. Mana tau pulak they tried to be creative, came up with following idea:

For those who know me well, of course I won’t jump into that pond la…hilang all my images that I’ve built for the past 1 year nanti. So the question is..would you jump into the pond to play ping pong?

Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to my blog!!!

While mostly people would celebrate their blog anniversary, me on the other hand is celebrating my 1 year of inactivity since my previous blog entry. Why didn’t I blog for the past 1 year perhaps you would ask. Lots of unexpected things happened that have taken most of my time. A friend told me that I’ve reached a T junction of my own!! Middle age crisis? Not that soon of course, though I ain’t that young also.

Basically I’ve changed my career, from IT to a totally new field. I’ve gone through a very tough first 6 months learning all the necessity and the other 6 months helping people to set/monitor their KPI as well as resolving their issues. Still remember an old grandma said that I jumped from a hot pot to a fire place. I have to agree with him somehow but no doubt that I’ve learnt a lot while I’m fighting for my own survival in the fire place. And most importantly I’m still surviving now!!

Besides, I’ve finally got myself a new hobby and toy aka photography. Bought a dslr (Nikon D3100) 6 months back and I’ve finally learnt what is aperture, shutter speed, ISO etc. An interesting and fun hobby it is that requires a lot of patience. Will definitely share some of my photos taken in near future.

Meanwhile, I’m glad to see all of you again here. And don’t worry, my next blog entry won’t be a year later.

Dragon flies from Hanoi

26 JUL 2010: Last year when my colleague went for a trip to Hanoi, she bought me a little souvenir. And another friend went to the same place last month, and I’ve got the same souvenir again; different in color and size. Makes me wonder what’s so special about this thing; any meaning behind? Anyhow, I like the bling2 effect though.

This is probably not something new that Putrajaya had organized a flora festival few weeks back; and I went over with a friend to look around and take some photos. I was disappointed that I didn’t see my favorite species of “bird of paradise”.

Fly to the Land Below the Wind

9 – 11 JULY 2010: Just 3 days after my HK relatives went back that I’ve yet recovered from my tiredness; I’ve to pack for my 3D2N trip to our land below the wind. I’ve been to Kota Kinabalu twice over the last 10 years for hiking and island hoping; and this time around was Sandakan.

It was a planned trip that we booked the flight early of the year. A friend of mine was origin from there; who suggested us to follow him back to his lovely hometown for a short weekend trip. An early morning flight it was (720am) where we reached Sandakan 3 hours after that. A lovely and peaceful town it is; with no traffic at all, friendly local people (and they speak hakka too), very fresh seafood and beautiful landscapes it has.

To summarize what I’ve done within these 3 days.

Food:

Temples/Church:

Local attractions:

Don’t know why, I really love Sabah a lot. I could feel myself at home being there, probably because the local Chinese speaks hakka. Do you have any local state or city/town of your interest?
